As we test ourselves everyday in the classes, there s no place to big egos in the training. When somebody aply a good lock, the student has the option to give up and don t be hurted, learning with the mistake, or let your partner hurts him and been out of the training for few days. Chave de braço partindo da meia-guarda

Em pesquisa realizada no fim de 2005, Demian Maia foi escolhido pelos internautas que acessam o GRACIEMAG.com como o melhor do Jiu-Jitsu no ano. O faixa-preta da Brasa acumulava na temporada, entre outras conquistas, vitória sobre Ronaldo Jacaré na Copa do Mundo de Jiu-Jitsu e um vice-campeonato no ADCC, competição na qual foi derrotado pelo próprio atleta com apelido de réptil na final até 87kg.

O novo ano chegou e Demian deu continuidade à boa fase em 2006, desta vez brilhando com mais intensidade no vale-tudo. O título do torneio até 83kg do Super Challenge foi conseguido após três vitórias na mesma noite, contra figurões como Katel Kubis, Gustavo Ximu e Fábio Negão. O fim do ano foi dedicado a seminários concorridos na Finlândia, mostrando que o sucesso obtido em seu país tropical repercute também na terra gelada de Papai Noel.

Em São Paulo, o faixa-preta recarrega as energias para em 2007 desfilar seu vasto repertório, que conta com armas como esta chave de braço que o amigo leitor confere a seguir, em nossa academia.
